Re: The not-woods
No, Kara was in the snow, on her back, wondering where they'd ended up now. She didn't even answer Hel at first, because she was uber tired of this. She draped her forearm over her eyes, not feeling any of the cold at her back, and she groaned. Hel was fine; she could hear her. One less thing to worry about, but it only took a second for everything to come rushing back to her, and she rolled over in the snow and looked at her BFF.
"Did it work?" she asked, before crawling over to Hel. She was in her dress, and everything was just like it was before. Nothing was blown up. Nothing was broken. Even the dress was in one piece (if gaping like before, especially with the crawling). "Did he die?" because Hel had been with not-Hel, and she had to believe not-Hel had eyes all over Gotham.
Her expression was hopeful, so, so hopeful. "Did we save them?"
She stopped beside Hel, knelt there, forgetting that her BFF didn't have her own personal heater. She didn't want to be back here, that was for sure, but if they'd made it back once, if they'd changed things, then maybe they could make it back again. There was determination in her blue eyes, visible even in the wooded darkness.
