Kara gave Hel, her Hel, a long look.
She knew now that Hel would be fine without her, no matter where she was. This newest not-Gotham had shown her that. Her BFF would be awesome and kickass, and she'd survive, and their planet would survive. There could be two Hels. After all, no one knew that better than her, did they? She'd lived in another Kara's shadow for the past five years, and she'd been totes fine and, if she said so herself, better than that goody goody any day.
But it was still hard to leave, still hard to go, and she swooped down and pressed an impulsive kiss to Hel's mouth. "Be awesome," she told her, before disappearing into the night and flying back to Wayne Manor, three hours away, where footsteps where still on the steps, only seconds having passed.
Epic, Kara. Time to save the world. "Cuz, you'd be so proud that I focused for once."
She only hoped the shockwaves of the explosion didn't reach Hel in Metropolis.
