Re: The not-woods
So much for going for the kryptonite. Hels knew better than to struggle when Kara got her in her arms especially while they were going through anything. Her bestie would keep her safe but not if she was squirming everywhere.
Not-Hels had never traveled by Kryptonian and she wasn't particularly interested in starting now. "No, let go," she growled and struggled, pushing at Kara's arms and trying to get out of her grip. She might as well have been wrestling with a brick wall for all the good it did her. "I have to do this," she grunted, determined one way or another to get away from this blond woman so she could do her duty.
And once they broke through the roof, the shatter of wood and stone complete, and Hels didn't have to yell over the noise, she pressed her mouth close to Kara's ear and said, "I'm not leaving without you." One arm wound tight around her waist as Hels hooked their ankles together. It wasn't much, not against Kara's speed and strength, but she wasn't about to be ditched on the lawn or worse, back at the party for this new Hels.
