"I know who I've lost." The scarred one's lips drew together tightly. "You're not going to have much time." She wiggled the trigger with all the connected cords at Kara. As the other girl shifted away, not-Hels gave her one last look before she turned back to the map.
Hel, the real one, knew that look on Kara's face. "No," she hissed back. Going back now meant that Kara wouldn't follow and she was not leaving her bestie behind to deal with this. Or behind anywhere, because as much as she wanted to go back to that new Gotham with all the family she didn't have here, she couldn't do it without Kara. It was that simple.
"If you're staying, I'm staying." The Hels here might not have the kryptonite out, but Hel knew where it was in her father's safe and how to get it out. It was the only thing that could stop her if she tried anything.
Reaching for Kara's wrist, she held on tight. "Don't you get it? She doesn't want to survive this." Her mouth opened to say more, but that's when she heard the first footsteps overhead. "They're here."
