Re: The not-woods
"You're being hella stubborn," Kara insisted, taking another step forward and tugging on not-Hel's arm. "You're going to stay here and die when you don't have to, which is just stupid. Not to mention you won't be around to help them rebuild, which is even stupider. Come on. We can totes lure them and get you out in time. I'm me. I can fly us right through the roof," she insisted, and she wasn't going to back down. It was in the grip of her hands on not-Hel's arm, and it was in the line of her shoulders and the tone of her voice. "Kal kept me on Micronesia, and then he died, just like Lois did, just like your mom did, just like your dad did, and just like Diana did."
And, yea, there was no doubt that this is how things were supposed to have played out. She still wasn't sure how they got to not-earth, whether it was Hel's dad, or whether it was something else, that they'd hitched a ride by mistake or something, but she should have died here, or lived here, but whatever it happened, it should have happened here.
"I need a sec," she said, even though she knew not-Hel wouldn't agree to anything, but it didn't matter. She could overpower both Hels, and that was what mattered. She walked back to her Hel, and she slip a hand around her waist. "You're going home," she whispered, quietly, so that not-Hel wouldn't hear.
