It was fairly strange, having a strange woman in his apartment and about to share this news that had hit him pretty hard. However, Leo knew that there were a few things he had to sort through now. He didn't even know WHEN she'd died, just that she had, and his parents finally had the decency to inform him. Leonard finally took his seat across from the girl and took a sip from his tea.
"My parents had called, for the first time since I'd come to America," acknowledged Leonard quietly, "to inform me that the woman who practically raised me was reported dead by local news back home." He was being blunt, and perhaps that was a bit from his other half who insisted to just say the worse and get over it that way.
