Suddenly the world seemed to shift and lit man hit the door, only to be rejoined by his head-mate. He wasn't sure where his shirt went, but he didn't much care. He leaned against the wall in the Hallway outside the door of his head-mate. Slowly he slid down it until he was sitting. His head leaned against the cool surface, messy blonde hair seemed to take whichever direction it wanted. He thought of the man in the basement and a small smile emerged until he saw the mental image of himself, stalking the man with a crop. The smile turned to a groan, even if it was a pretty interesting vision.
"Can you not pollute yourself with all those damn chemicals for one goddamn night?" James Bond had a bit of an attitude. Most of the time he ignored the voice, but this one caught him off guard. "Go home before I kick your ass from the inside out."
He stood up at the command, holding the wall. He stopped by the restroom in the lobby and looked in the mirror. Gone was the young man with the bright smile who loved his music more than most things. His blue green eyes were red, and dilated. His skin was red in spots, and his hair could be a home for small creatures. His nose had a small trickle of blood that had dried. On the second floor, he had indulged, taking whatever suited him. He could feel his pulse still waging it's own war. This feeling wasn't uncommon. He smoked bowls in the back of the diner, did whatever he could at clubs, drank when the mood struck him. He couldn't say no. He had woken up in strange beds, only to do it all again the next night, no better than the little street whores on the strip. Worse yet, he wanted another hit, something to keep flying.
"Fuck me," he mumbled to the mirror. Addiction was an ugly monster, as was the lust in brought out. Caellum washed his face, fixing his hair with his fingers. He could get serious, maybe not party quite as much. Of course, he had said those things before. They never happened.
