He'd been on duty when Passages had summoned him, and he ended up there again once it all ended. For Joseph, the situation was enlightening. He'd heard about things happening, but he hadn't experienced anything first-hand before. Until now. The sentence in his journal was insulting, but not shocking, and he put the thing aside and tried not to think too hard about what the previous night had meant. He had other problems, and when his shift ended he drove back to the hotel, in the hopes that he could talk to the man if they were on "home turf" for once.
After a brief mental conversation about the "Basilio problem," Joseph allowed Eames to go through the door. Maybe the man could fix things. He didn't have much faith, but it wasn't like there was much else that could go wrong. Cory had run his mouth, and Joseph didn't trust Bianca, a fact which Eames only begrudgingly agreed with.
Problems.
Problems, because Joseph wasn't the kind of man that could turn the other cheek when it came to the things Eames vaguely let on that Basilio did. He'd have to find proof and turn him in.
Eames, on the other hand, had very different concerns upon crossing back through the door. He'd long since decided to let Cobb worry about his own arse, since the man was hardly doing him any favors recently. And while he didn't want Joseph dying, that was rather a secondary concern upon reaching his Mombasa apartment.
Memories of the night before came rushing back, and he sat heavily upon the cheap mattress.
Arthur was going to bloody kill him.
