Margaery could guess at some of the thoughts going through Renly's head but couldn't claim to truly understand them. As his eyes ran over her body she saw nothing there to indicate any interest, not that she had expected to.
She felt sorry for him in a way. She knew desire of course, had felt it's pull but the desire for the crown had always been stronger with her. Everything she did was carefully thought out ahead of time, she wasn't one to lose her head and had no qualms about doing her duty. Interesting times were ahead behind closed doors as well as on the battlefields. Though she hoped being able to continue with Loras would ease the task it was vital Renly undertake.
Margaery drank from her cup, noticing as Renly rubbed at his head as though he was experiencing pain. She considered the question carefully, "I believe it is a wise course of action. He will be more easily persuaded of any decision we make. He desires to be seen as powerful more than to hold actual power, therefore he is a good choice for now" she told her husband, "And you my king? Do you wish to chose my lord father or have you another in mind?"
