He checked the driver. The pane was closed, and he didn't feel that the driver would care to eavesdrop. "Sera was running from her responsibility. We've all wanted to. I may be getting there later than some. Our lives are put into this box, and there is a very narrow path, and if we step out of it, the pressure is crushing. I'm so programmed to be a Duke that I forgot how to feel along the way. She said she still wanted to marry me, but she wasn't ready for that leadership role.
