Andrew regarded the man with a nod. He had expected another answer, or person, a lover perhaps. "A nanny? You and I do have a lot in common." He had a nanny when he was a lad. She was fairly strict, saw to his studies, cooked for him, made his special biscuits. He wasn't sure where she was now, only that she had her own children. "It sounds like she was having problems."
Andrew had his own. Indifference in his own life was a problem. Nobility tended to breed indifference. His life was one of order, and one that held a clear path. It was one that he wanted to shed for an actually life, one that was full of color and experience. "You didn't come here just to find her, did you? There has to be another reason to stay. Did you ever get bored of the fancy parties, all the politics, deals under the table, shaking hands with those who you loathe? In this place, I don't have to be a Lord unless I choose to. It is kind of entertaining to just blend into the crowd."
