Re: Outside Phantom Door
The guy who seemed more interested in jotting down who-knows-what in his notebook earned a raise of his eyebrows, but to each their own. Neil wasn't going to begrudge him his freedom to do what he wanted. Sam seemed to be the most at ease of the group, though that could easily be a ruse. Still, he liked that she got straight to the point instead of hemming and hawwing like they weren't all standing here for a reason. He may not have been thrilled about any of this, and he wasn't willing to just spill forth who had wanted him to come here in the first place, but he could still appreciate some blunt honesty all the same.
Aiden, Sam, and the still-unnamed writer. At least Neil knew two of the three in terms of names, though none were the least bit familiar otherwise. "I'm assuming we'll be able to get in eventually," he said with a shrug. This was just a taste, a preview of what was to come; they hadn't been given keys to open doors that could never be entered. "As for the plan, I think I agree with Aiden. We can't do anything right now except stare, and that's bound to become dull quite quickly." He had no desire to start a discussion of 'What Phantom character are you?' or anything of the sort. "The journals instructed us to come here," he added, though he kept his own out of sight, "and we have our keys, which likely means we can return. We might learn more then."
