Cory would have made a grab for the thing as it was flipped at him, or at least been angry that Evan was 'throwing things,' but Arthur watched the chip come and in a deliberate resistance of instinct, let it hit him and then fall away. He gave a little shrug of one shoulder as if to settle his senses again.
"I don't have one." His eyes were serious as he inspected Evan's face. He wasn't really talking to Evan, but he also didn't need a response that Evan couldn't give. "Maybe. Do you think we're dreaming? I didn't want to kill him without a second opinion." He was absolutely dead serious, one eyebrow slightly arched, his mouth unlined.
