Tony was chattering, he was always chattering, but this time Silver was in agreement. Silver was in possession of himself and also possessed of enough skill and confidence that he wasn't afraid of going into the strange hotel. He had visited it before, tried to find access, and the fact that he couldn't with all his skill had been very telling to him. He was intrigued to find that it was opening, and Tony was no less eager to have something to distract him from Silver's eternal calm.
He mounted the staircase at past midnight, hands out of his pockets, over his arm the heavy brown coat with a high-collar meant to keep out the dry desert cold. He had a neutral t-shirt with a loose collar on, and he watched the little black dress with casual and yet male interest as it undulated up the steps. He caught up pretty quickly, hardly out of breath for the effort. "On your way to a door?" he asked, smiling slightly at her.
