Re: warning: some blood and violence
This last vision was terrifying. For someone who had been sheltered his entire life, this vision was...shocking. He didn't know what to think about this. He wished like hell that he wasn't in the damn break room of all places, but he was more than grateful that his boss had a similar condition to his own. For Leo's part, the concierge had leaned his head back against the chair that he now slouched in, trying to make it appear as though he were taking a nap rather than having these strange visions.
This one, however, this one was enough to cause him to shiver and tremble in disgust. Revenge was one thing. A simple joke, a simple trick. Leonard had seen a lot of tricks of revenge from the boys at Devon school, where he'd watched from the background and witnessed most of them doing what he'd considered pointless pranks. Leonard himself was staring in a sickened fascination, unable to pull his gaze away from the disgusting scene in front of him.
The sight of blood was one thing, even in a dream. But the smell actually filtered into his mind as he caught scent of it. It was a metallic, bitter smell, one that Leo knew he'd never forget. He felt bile rise in his own throat as he stared down at the handiwork of this stranger, and he got the sickened sense that this stranger wanted to kill again, despite everything else. Leo blinked and the dream was gone, but he was left pale and shaking as though he himself had been the one to just commit the murder he'd seen.
