Nell's eyes flew open, and for a moment the image of the square through his eyes were still imprinted in her mind. She didn't the girl in her mind to say anything to know that the kid in the square had been a much younger version of Arya. Nell didn't know why she was having dreams through Ned's eyes (because that's obviously who that was; Nell had seen the show and read the books), but she supposed it was one of the many weird things that came with having a fictional character in her head.
'I'm sorry, Arya,' she thought, even as she tried to sit up. 'I know you had a rough life and I'm sorry you had to see that.' Even in the silence, Nell knew Arya had been right there with her, experiencing the hopes and fears of Ned's last moments (or Nell's approximation of them).
Pushing up the pillows behind her, Nell leaned against the headboard and leaned back, as the headache continued. 'I promise I'll take you to see him...' She was already falling again.
