He was leaning heavy against the wall, and he was thinking he should have stayed on through that door and in that damn house that bred monsters. But he was wise on this place now, and he knew enough to realize he weren't crazy. He didn't know what he just saw, and he didn't know why, but it passed, and it weren't real terrible. Whoever the fool in the bed was looking for, they clearly weren't around, and wondering it through someone else's eyes didn't make Jules any more inclined to go hunting for answers.
If there was one thing this damn place had taught him real quick, it was that hunting for answers only dragged him on down to places he didn't want to be going.
