Re: [Theo/Kitane] Bartolotta
Her fork had strayed to his plate only a few times. Spaghetti and ravioli were dishes she knew, but she'd found that no matter where they went, everywhere had a different way of fixing things. Even Therese's had been different than his and though pasta wasn't a favorite dish of hers (she'd never really had it before coming to the States), she liked to taste everything. How else was she going to learn what she liked unless she tried it all?
Of course, there were also things to try which had nothing to do with food at all. Like how Theo kissed her hand, as if she was a lady, that had her beaming. That was definitely going down on the list of things to be repeated, even if it made her cheeks heat more than the whiskey had that one time.
The bill seemingly paid by Theo, she stood up when he did, and easily slipped her hand into the crook of his elbow. "Yes," she said with a slow nod of her head. She didn't know much about the clubs, but she knew that she liked dancing and given the scale of the party tonight, there was bound to be something fun going on somewhere. However, her lack of knowledge about the clubs meant that she had to rely on whatever Theo thought best and she said as much to him.
She almost asked him if he wanted to change out of his suit, knowing that it likely wouldn't be comfortable for clubbing, but not knowing his plan was to leave her in whatever club to dance the night away. Ultimately she decided against it though. She liked the suit, liked how Theo looked in it, and how the material felt under her fingertips. If he didn't want to change, she certainly wasn't going to ask him to.
