Re: [Theo/Kitane] Bartolotta
He smiled indulgently as she just nodded along. It was clear she was more interested in the lagoon that they were seated around and if he hadn't been abundantly clear about the fish pond in the lobby of Turnberry, he would have been worried about her trying to go in. Of course, not a minute later, she was telling him what he needed to make the pool that much better. "Sharks?" he asked, torn between being surprised and amused. "Comforting and cozy means having sharks swim a few feet away from you?" Theo shook his head and chuckled, settling on amusement. "I don't think that's something even I could arrange." He knew he came off as being able to do a great deal, but it was primarily because of his wealth or the fact that he all but owned the Wynn.
The waitress came, but before she could hand them the menu, Theo ordered for them. She would have the risotto to start, followed by the gnocchi, and then the Abruzzi seafood stew. He would have the spaghetti to start, followed by the Piemontese meat ravioli, and then the pagaro salmoriglio. He ordered without even looking at the menus though it wasn't to impress anyone. It was just what he did and, admittedly, he wanted to avoid an argument with Kitane over the price of the meal. She would've had kittens if she'd known how much the stew cost and that wouldn't end well for him. Not if Viserion was anything to go by.
Once the waitress was gone, he lifted his glass and gestured for her to do the same. It was cheesy, certainly, but as he clinked his glass against hers, Theo felt a bit more like celebrating. "To three months of living together," he toasted. "It's been...interesting, but I'm glad you let me help." That much was completely true, even if some days he questioned it when she was testing him in a particularly difficult manner.
