Re: [Theo/Kitane] Bartolotta
Taking the seat closest to him, she sat down primly, tucking her skirt under her thighs before crossing them. "Mmm hmm," she said, clearly not focused on what he was saying. She was too busy looking at the pool. The decorative pool, Kitane decided. It didn't smell like the swimming pool that she was allowed to swim in, but it had no fish like the pool at Turnberry. As much as the fish there had agitated her because she couldn't do anything more than look at them, they were nice to look at. Comforting, like Theo had told her they were. The pool here could use some decorative fish. Pretty ones.
Or maybe sharks. She'd seen the commercials on the Discovery Channel for Shark Week and she was quite keen to watch it. "Your pool needs decorative fish. Or sharks. So it is comforting and cozy," she promptly informed him.
And grinned. Her tone was far too teasing to be considered sarcastic or like she was throwing his words meanly back in his face. She had listened, sometimes even to every word he said, and respected the nature of the decorative things in the lobby. Here too, even if she really wanted to jump in the pool and play with the large orbs that reflected everything. That was not polite though and she wouldn't do anything to make his grumpy face come out tonight.
