Have you always wanted them, the house and the children and the boy and the animals? I don't remember when I wanted things. I did, I think when I was very small. Maybe one day I will again.

I love animals. But if I were to have a cat or a dog or even a parrot (I think I would like one of these) then moving so much would upset them or they would have to be left behind. And I don't think I could bear that. You can't love and leave something that cannot understand why you have gone.

We are not art, we are people, so we are more complicated to understand. The intent that made us is not so simple as one artist. But I like you very much, Wren. I would offer to hold a dinner myself but I cannot cook and I have no dining table.

	This expecting. I don't think we ever get what we expect to get, far less what we want to have. Your cat, did he mind being dragged?
