[After the midnight opening of the Passages Hotel, the hotel's lights remain on around the clock. It's not strange for Las Vegas, but the lights that flicker in the windows of the largely-abandoned building are not modern or electric. The flames that illuminate the dusty glass are from muted candles in sconces, and they never brighten, no matter what time of night it is. The hotel doors are always open to anyone holding a key for one of the doors, and while there are no permanent attendants, the hotel is always stocked with books in the library, water in the pool, and food in the kitchen. Las Vegas residents without keys will always find their entrance barred.
Most importantly, beginning Monday, keyholders may cross the thresholds into their Door Worlds at will, allowing their Alters to manifest physically. Additionally, "journals" will begin to work on both sides of the doors, allowing characters and Alters to communicate with one another freely on the journal-network.]
