I'm not sure if I should be concerned about the fact that I am nearly on a first-name basis with several members of the LVPD. At least this time, they weren't here because of something I was involved in.

Really, they should screen the sorts of people they allow to be here. Those prone to violence should be banned, if you ask me. We do live in a civilized world where people don't attack others in the hallways.

Just another wonderful day in Vegas.

[...] Sam and her sister, Iris, got into a pretty one-sided fight. She kind of messed her up and someone, probably Chloe, called the cops. Now Iris is in the hospital and Sam's in custody.

I don't think there was a plan. [...] Sam mentioned wanting to see her face to face, you know? But I was going to be there to mediate or whatever to stop something like this from happening in the first place.

Money and influence counts for a lot. She's not pressing charges, which is a good thing, even if Chloe tries to screw Sam over.

I saw her, Iris. Now, I don't know you, but she was trying to hurt you. If she just wanted you out, she wouldn't have done that. She was screaming at you, trying to hurt you. I heard most of it and saw it towards the end. You weren't doing anything but keeping your head down to keep her from hurting you more. And that isn't right. It isn't.
