RP: A Bad Way to Start WHO; Daphne Greengrass WHERE; Main Cabin WHEN; Day 122 WHAT; Daphne checking into the Retreat RATING & WARNINGS; Probably foul language ahead STATUS; Incomplete
Slamming open the front door of the main cabin, she stood there angry, effing and blinding in her fury. Anyone who looked at her would have seen someone covered in mud from head to toe.
When she had arrived at the retreat she stepped out into the drizzle, and right into a puddle of water. From there Daphne had fallen three times because her heels got stuck in the mud. She had slipped backwards once when she stepped on some wet grass, she had landed right on her back. As she tried to get up, she kept slipping.
The whole time she was trying to get up, there was a man with dark wavy hair standing farther back, laughing at her. When she finally got her balance, she picked up hedr bag and sent a glare at him. But her glares only made him laugh harder. “Keep laughing, Grandpa. When it’s time for your funeral, I’ll be the one laughing.”
She made a silent vow to herself; she would make Astoria’s life miserable for this. And she would make her parents feel guilty with every letter she wrote home.
Trying to walk over to the woman in the cabin, her muddy heels made her slip on the floor. When she made it to the woman, she dropped her bag that was provided by the Retreat and she took off her sunglasses.
Ignoring the stares she was getting from outside the cabin through the open door, she tried to speak as if she was in command of the situation and not covered in mud. “Daphne Greengrass, checking in.”
