Plot Plot - On Day 100 all the magic wards of the Retreat ceased to function. There is an ongoing investigation on how the wards became faulty, but they believe a patient to be the reason for it. The staff was able to round up and contain all the patients until St. Mungo staff and Aurors were alerted. Patients were either brought to St. Mungos or if they were not considered a threat, allowed to go home on "holiday." Any patient previously associated with the Death Eaters was placed in St. Mungos. The list is as follows:
Harry Potter- Placed in St. Mungo's Tracey Davis- Allowed to visit family Hannah Abbott- Allowed to visit family [Winnie can decide whether she visits family or checks herself into St. Mungo's.] Pansy Parkinson- Allowed to visit family, family sent to St. Mungo's on Day 109 Natalie McDonald- Allowed to visit family Gregory Goyle- Placed in St. Mungo's for patients safety Draco Malfoy- Placed in St. Mungo's for everyone else's safety
All staff was given the opportunity to vacation or visit family until further notice. Fiona, the Director, has stayed behind to assist with the renovations of a few things as well as the magic reconstruction. Dr Savage visited her family for a few days but returned within a week, and has been living at an inn at the nearest village. Maggie Pennyfeather went home to visit her family and friends, as well as attend a few workshops. Evan Dolohov has been unable to be located, but has left an owl behind that can find him. [Winnie will add Jake's status in a reply post below.]
On Friday, September 20th, an elderly wizard in Diagon Alley was not allowed to return a recently purchased cauldron, for fear that it had been tampered with. Unable to afford the kneazle he was going to buy for his granddaughters birthday, he attempted to turn the cauldron into a kneazle and blew himself up. In the explosion two were killed and numerous others injured. The sudden emergency has spread the healer staff at St. Mungos a little thin and the board has asked Fiona to take her patients back a bit earlier than she had expected, as the Retreat is not finished. On Saturday the 21st and Sunday the 22nd (The 12th through the 15th for us) patients will begin being transported back to Kamchatka, however it won't be the Retreat house that everyone is headed for. No, instead they will be a one mile hike from the Retreat house in old cabins. They haven't been used in years, are old and run down and since they are only temporary, the Ministry saw no reason to really fix them up. They are one room, boasting one oversized cot, a quaint wood stove, and little else. There is a well for water, outhouses, and the nearest town is a two mile walk. Oh, and they'll be paired up to share those cozy little cabins. The entire camp has been warded against muggles, as well as magical use.
So welcome back patients, hope you don't mind while we get things in order. While you're at it, make sure to welcome our new guests, and we request you all play nice. Think of it as camping, except this time it's a bit more dangerous.
