Currently we have a "News Event" posted! What does this mean for you? A few things!
Question: Can I interact with the medical tanks?
Answer: Not publicly but they are looking for people to be part of the trails.
Question: What do I have to do to be part of the trails?
Answer: Your character would need to go to get in contact with Momentum offices, go through a series of physical and mental evaluations to make sure they are of sound mind, body and health, sign off on a series of legal releases that they're not going to sue the company for any potential side effects, agree to abide by trial rules including not talking about the trial to those not participating, and more but everything keyed to making sure the participant is of sound mind and body and can't sue the medical company if anything goes wrong.
Question: What do I get out of being part of the trails?
Answer: $5,000 per test that you successfully complete after passing all physical/mental/emotional evaluations.
Question: How many tests should I expect my character to undergo if they successfully pass all evaluations?
Answer: 4 tests, spread out over 2 months (one test every two weeks), paying a total of $20,000.
Question: OOCly what do I need to do if I want my character to be involved in the medical trials?
Answer: Emails the mods! Medical trails are largely not talked about IRL so any details about these will be kept secret in the spirit of keeping with actual trials. AKA, we will not be posting publicly about the trial results until the tanks are fully approved or major break throughs happen, if the tanks are approved. Anything that happens in the process of getting the tanks to approval will be private communications with players. If your character chooses to disclose details of what they're going through that is up to the character, but Momentum - if they find out about the disclosure - are within their right to sue the person disclosing and remove them immediately from the medical trial with no compensation as well as blacklisting the person from ever gaining commercial use access to the tanks when they're on the market for medical use. We don't actually care if characters talk about their experiences as mods but the company would legally have all that in place and would press upon the character the importance of these things staying confidential ICly.
Question: You assholes didn't answer my question.
Answer: Okay! Put it under the comment with the heading "Questions" please!
Happy gaming!
