Dante "Inferno" Zaragoza - Death'll find you... (xolotl) wrote in divisionsooc,
Quest/Rin - Dante Zaragoza
I'm Quest or Rin, I've gone by both for so long I'm not even sure I care which I'm called anymore LOL. I work in a Hospital Quality and am into most nerdy/geeky things to some degree, even the things I'm not into I don't mind hearing about generally as I often enjoy learning new things. This post'll be for Dante.
Dante Zaragoza (Age: 27 - Previously of: (TBD), Mexico / Brooklyn NYC / The West Coast/ Back to NYC - This journal) she owns Zaragoza Automotive and co-owns The Community at Paititi with Helena West. Dante grew up in Brooklyn and had a bout of fame as a teenage track star before ending up in a horrible incident. That general outline of history can easily be found if you google her name. For anyone who wants to have known her before she left NYC she was all about work and clubbing/having a good time back then (20-25). For anyone who may have known Inferno then, Inferno was all about elimination of horrific threats against humanity. Dante and Inferno bounced over to the other side of the country for 3 years and now has landed back in NYC with a lot more money than when she left and a bunch of people she moved back here with her. She bought an automotive shop in Ivalice and fixed it up. She runs the shop as a pretty tight ship, often brings her pup Rosco to the shop with her, and she's got a fund to help people who are struggling to afford their car repairs but she trusts her shop manager Ivy to handle that most of the time. She's got a whole sorted backstory that's left her chasing a horrible criminal but honestly, most people don't know more about Dante other than she's the friendly Mexican lady that owns the garage and seems to offer to help a lot. She keeps a large circle of friendly associations, doesn't really seem to judge people unless the person in question is being an asshole, and then she'll have no problems taking them to town. Assuming she doesn't deem them a waste of time and space... Which tbf, a lot of assholes are that to her. She's got more important shit to do than high school level pettiness and arguing. Dante does tend to make it out to most things assuming her schedule lines up with whatever's going on. (I have a weekly schedule for her pretty much). The biggest difference anyone reconnecting with Dante may notice is in the years she left and came back in she seems to have mellowed out a little, and picked up a lover. Which lovers were something she basically swore off prior to leaving NYC.
