Marina was proud of Dante's progress. She could still remember what Dante had been like when she was younger and it was amazing to see how much she'd grown and changed. Most people would have let all that hardship wear them down. But Dante was strong. It was something that really spoke to Marina, given her own experiences. It was also why she'd worried when Dante had been gone and relieved when she'd come back.
"It sounds like everything's in normal working order," she said. "We'll check to be sure, obviously, but I trust your read of things. It's your body, after all. You're the one who knows it best." She moved over to take a blood pressure cuff and brought it back to Dante.
"But let's start with that blood pressure," she said, "and then we'll get to the scans."
