Julia was not a large person. Her diminutive stature - barely above five feet, quiet voice, wispy form even some might say - was not a benefit in large crowds like this in most instances as she was unable to push back if things went badly, unable to yell loud enough to break through the constant din or worse withstand potentially being trampled. Unless she was quickly trying to zip through the area, snaking through throngs of bodies and people alike.
When a nudge came to her side to redirect her attention to the - what appeared to be very large and very serious looking men with earpieces coming out in nearly a march to Julia - she felt her insides run cold. Having spent years being a protestor when men like that came out, things often got violent. If they were in cameo, dress shirts or riot gear there was a certain air and body language men like that held and Julia had seen it enough to read it from a mile away. The squared shoulders, the practiced steps, the tight formation. Yeah... That whole snaking through crowds thing was about to become very very useful.
She'd written Allegra's phone number on her upper arm in sharpie earlier that day and fingers were quickly searching for her phone in her pocket so that a quick message could be sent off to them in case she was arrested.
"That's not rainbows and sunshine if I've ever seen it." Julia confirmed a little on the quiet side with a bit of tension in her voice.
