When I was 16, I fell out of my dad's Tahoe. I landed with all my weight on my left foot which was bent forward so that the top of my foot was touching the ground. It swelled up pretty quick and I told my dad I thought it was broken. He said it was fine and to prove I was "faking", my brother stomped on it. The next day my mom wouldn't take me to the doctor and made me go to school, where it was stepped on a lot. Finally my mom called my dad and told him to take me to the doctor. After the x-rays they told me it was fractured and had I walked on it anymore, the bone most likely would have slipped and pierced through the top of my foot. They gave me a boot to wear and when I got home my brother asked if I could feel through it. Before I could answer, he kicked it. My foot never healed right and if I'm up on it for too long it starts to pop in a really funny way and hurts.
Also, when I was twelve some kids at school got in a fight and during all the shuffling I got knocked over and someone stepped on my head. Pretty sure I had a concussion but the nurse told me to lay down and not to go to sleep lol. Maybe she thought my parents would sue?
