what do you do with your notebooks and folders when you're done with the semester? especially for classes you won't need in the future.
i hate throwing mine away, i feel like it's a waste. but i'm running out of space :|

my sorority has a filing system where we keep all our old notes and tests, so it goes there.

i saved all my notebooks/textbooks from my major and (planned) minor classes. especially with my major, i found them quite useful afterward once i progressed to higher level classes. i just had one of those really long plastic containers and by the end of 4 years i had two filled with notebooks and textbooks, but they fit under my bed really easily.

This makes me sad that I threw out so many of my notebooks for my major once I was done with the class. =\

i ripped out the old pages, recycled them, and used the rest of the blank pages next semester.

Save them if you think you'd refer back to them or recycle them if not.

i hate throwing mine away too, so they're just in a bunch of boxes in my closet. they're taking up space, i should find something else to do with them.

i guess it depends on the kind of notebook you're talking about. i use binders so i just recycle my notes i don't need and reuse the binders. just recycle if you can and don't feel bad.

if they're notes i won't need in the future, i rip out the pages i wrote on and i save the rest of it. i basically keep a stack of ones like that under my bed and go through them one by one, keeping one on my desk at all times for any random things i need to write down. i always need a fresh notebook for classes or it feels weird to me so this way the old ones don't go to waste!
