Well, you see, they were all talking about how people began adding color to their food by squashing up brightly colored bugs and chucking them in. When Stephen (guy at the head of the table) said that the husband must've thought, "I love this pink polenta," he does it in a very British accent, so Alan (the curly haired one) jokes around and claims that they wouldn't have said it like that. Instead, he mimics the popular Mexican accent, to which Stephen makes the reply about the Spanish colonization of the country. Then, later, Alan was talking about how Incans wouldn't have talked like him, to which Stephen says that they weren't talking about the Incans, but the Aztecs.
