Do you think professors take their end of semester evaluations seriously or not? Are you honest on your evaluations and just give it straight to them if they were a terrible professor?
Lol one of the social work professors doesn't read her evaluations until a year later. It makes her nervous so she puts it off but then reads them and takes them to heart to improve the class. She's too cute sometimes in her frazzled ways.

WHOOOOOA!! so i'm buying tickets online from fandango for sherlock holmes tomorrow (because the theater just opened and so there's no fee to pre-order online, holla!) and APPARENTLY i even get to pick where i sit!!! omfg this is the coolest movie theater ever. (they also serve booze btw, and the seats look like armchairs i'm so excited)

i've spent the past three days watching gi joe, iron man, the incredible hulk, and the transformers movies nonstop and i came to realize that i love watching shit blow up. which is probably why i'm even more stoked on the possibility that i'm gonna get star trek for christmas WOOO.

so i have a question. i'm getting a laptop for xmas and i'm wondering is a 17 inch really as huge as it sounds?? i could get a similar/70 bucks cheaper laptop for 15.5" but i'm worried it'll be too small. this will be my first laptop so i want to be totally happy with it:(

what did you all have for your christmas meals and/or what are you going to make? my family is cooking dinner tomorrow and they are mostly cooking meat and stuff but i'm trying to think of a good vegetarian meal.

div i have a dilemma! tell me, what would you do in this situation?
every year for christmas my parents and i go to my great aunt's. it's the only time i ever see that side of my family (aside from my grandparents) unless something extra special comes up. the problem is, both of my parents have caught some kind of bug and are very sick and not feeling up to going this year at all. i could either go by myself or stay home with them.
if i go by myself, i'll be driving over an hour to their house, which i've never driven to alone before (there's always been someone with me to direct me, plus this was forever ago) and driving to places for the first time by myself always worries me when it's that far. i feel like i can do it but i'll be paranoid the whole time... lol.
or i could stay home, miss christmas with my extended family but spend it with my parents. they have no problem with me going and don't want me to miss out, but i do feel bad leaving them, and they feel bad enough as it is.
i'm having such a tug of war with this, haaallppp. :(
