I know tattoos are a frequently-discussed topic, but I was just wondering: what are some lyrics or phrases that you would love to get tattooed but REFUSE because of the length?

i'm pretty sure i have an earache/ear infection, but i've never had one before (to my knowledge at least - i might've had one when i was a lot younger) anyways i probably won't be able to make it to the doctor because of school but this is basically how i feel. when i eat/extend my jaw, my ear ACHES ... i feel nauseous. idk, does this sound like an ear infection to you, and is there anything i can do to get rid of it other than antibiotics??

So, I've been sort of seeing this guy for just over a month now - we're really good friends, we text and facebook message a lot, we go for coffee and to see movies, we go to each other's apartments and make out and so on, haha. But we haven't actually said anything about being in a relationship or being exclusive or whatever (which is fine by me because I like how it's going).
I was just wondering: if this was you, what would you do for Valentine's day? I don't want to feel like an asshole if he does something and I've completely ignored it, but I don't want to scare him off either by coming on too strong. Thoughts please?

Does anyone know if they buy clothes and books at pawn shops, and how much they might buy them for? I need to make some extra cash quick and easy, and I have a ton of nice clothes I just don't want anymore, and a bunch of books in kickass condition, including 3 hardcover Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul books plus like 4 other Chicken Soup books. I also have 2 Anne Rice books (not Vampire Chronicles, some of her other stuff) that have never even been flipped through.
And for people who just want interaction:
Have any of you ever sold stuff off at a pawn shop? What did you get rid of and how much did you get for it?

has anyone here eaten at a mellow mushroom?
i ate at one in asheville, NC about two months ago for my first time, had a greek salad, and fell in love. yesterday i ate at the one in knoxville with my family, had hummus, bruschetta, and two pizzas, and i've never had a better meal in my life.
tell me your experiences at the mushroom! if you don't have one near you, i highly recommend you begging for them to open one in your town.

I hate to post twice in a day, but you guys are my go-to's for advice! So, my best friend and I usually have 30 minute to hour long conversations on the phone every night (sometimes just every other night). We don't see each other very much, so it's ..kind of how we talk. Anyway, her boyfriend/hook-up buddy/jerk who treats her like shit has been the topic of conversation since last June. He's all she fucking talks about. He's all I ever hear about. And I hate him. And she knows that. But every single time we talk, it's about him or other guys.
So tonight I go, "You have to talk about him in every conversation." And I hung up. Was I justified? Or am I supposed to listen because she's my best friend?
I just feel like it's SO one-sided. It's all about her life, her job, her blah blah blah and never about me.

After 6 months of trying to find a job, after moving, my brother has managed to get me a job where he works..where I put in an application the same day he did. He's been working there since about September or October. After which, I went and talked to them around the beginning of the year, they said they've put hiring on hold..3 days later, they have 2 new waitresses. WTH.
ALTHOUGH, I am VERY excited and happy that I have a job now. I can finally stop worrying so much about my bills.
So we can all share some excitement, what's some good/great news you've heard recently?
