right now i'm taking english 1302 - writing about fairy tales and folklore, intro to college algebra, and government. i kind of want an elective, but i don't want to waste money on a class that won't transfer to UCLA, and i wouldn't even know where to begin with the electives that I would actually WANT to take since I already took that one. sigh, community college -.-

if you are in need of quick cash, put a baby-sitting advertisment up on your town's craig's list. I put mine up yesterday morning and have had three responses so far! But along with that, what's a reasonable rate for babysitters? when I was thirteen I charged five dollars an hour, but I can't afford that any more.

What is something you used to do that you miss doing?
I was in Jiu Jitsu for 6 years when I was younger. I actually got my black belt and became a sensei, but I had to drop out a few months later because my brother got sick. I miss it so much. I wish I could afford going again.

my new years resolution was to give to charity as often as possible. i don't make enough money to be donating huge sums, but i want to do something to help. i don't want to just donate to one charity, though, i want to donate to lots of different charities throughout the year. is there a site or something that lists charities that i can donate to, or even a site that will allow me to donate through their site?
there are so many good and varied charities that it's kind of overwhelming.

I know this is random, and maybe someone will have to bitch because they're annoying, but, rpattz singing is the best shit I've ever heard. It's so terrible when he warbles. I never realized that was him singing in the background in the restaurant scene and now I have four of his songs and oh god, I find myself much less attracted to him hahaha (except not really - the man is dreamy).
Also, this is completely unrelated and my life.

my cousin turned 18 a week ago and came over tonight for cake/money/whatnot and he posted a bulletin on myspace asking someone to buy him cigarettes because he's a scumbag and doesn't even have his drivers permit yet. is that disrespectful of him to buy cigarettes with the money our grandma gave him (she's very against any of us smoking)? i feel like it would break her little heart if she knew and i really just want to punch him in his forehead right now for being such a dirtbag.
