do you believe love travels at different speeds? why or why not?
I personally do, I don't think you really need to know everything about someone to love or be in love with them. I think my love being given out is more based on characteristics and how quickly my comfort level changes around someone, well more so right now my girlfriend. my dad made me feel foolish this weekend when he was talking about his love life by saying, "If you're saying you love someone when you've only been dating a month, you're moving too fast." but obviously our opinions differ as I'm sure some of yours will.

I forced myself to get up from a super deep sleep to go to class, and then I got here only to find out it was canceled and I can't go back home and sleep cos my mom has to work and can't bring me back in time. My next class isn't until 1:30. SCREAMS.
What's something that's pissed you off/upset you today? I know it's early.
ETA - Just so I don't have to make another post - this amused me hardcore. I was doing my Italian homework and we had to write sentences about being amused and the first one I had to write was, "Io mi diverto al caffe con gli amici." One letter off, but still amusing! :D

I have been worrying for the past month about being able to finish off my payment to my college. It was due at the beginning of this month and while I had the money it would leave me completely broke so I didn't pay it right away. I just got a letter from PHEAA saying that they changed my financial aide by nearly five hundred dollars so I only have $240.50 to pay for school where I would have $700-something. I know it's a good thing and all, I am so grateful, but what the hell did it change for? Couldn't they have done this a little earlier in the semester instead of halfway through? Ugh.

i have a code in my overrides section to change the font on my journal. though when i alter the font in my entries, it stays the same as evreything else. is there anything else i can add to the code so the font will change when i want it to?

I'm pro-choice and I think the father should choose whether or not to circumcise my son. Evidently that contradicts each other because the woman gets to choose what happens to their body but someone else is in charge of the little boys. UM, WHAT?! okay so i'm pretty retarded i guess when it comes to writing papers.
i have a thesis, right? and for body paragraphs i'm supposed to have a topic sentence derived from the thesis. i'm writing each topic sentence as a variation of the thesis, and i'm NOT using the exact wording. is this totally wrong?
example:
Thesis: Black Boy is an extended blues song because it laments about Richard Wrights historical context, travel, relationships, vices, and discrimination.
Topic Sentence 1: Black Boy is an extended blues song because it laments about Richard Wright's historical context.
Topic Sentence 2: Richard Wright wrote Black Boy as an extended blues song because it laments about traveling.
Topic Sentence 3: Black Boycontinues to be an extended blues song as Richard Wright laments about relationships.
and so on and so forth.
so, am i totally screwing this paper up?

I have this friend who's really needy and relays her burdens onto those around her. I honestly can't handle carrying her burdens for her when I've got my own to carry, so I try to make it so that we hang out in a situation that is like a party, or with more of our friends than just us. Anyway, I've been really busy lately with work and figuring out what I want to do with school, and on Friday, she texts me asking if my boyfriend and I want to go hang out with one of her guy friends on Saturday night. I get caught up in work and stuff and forget to answer and I closed on Saturday, with an early morning shift on Sunday. To keep it short, I get a text from her today saying "How come I never hear from you anymore?"; I apologize and tell her that I've been busy. Immediately after sending it, I get "Well I hope it goes well for you". I already know she's still upset/jealous of me because of my boyfriend, but since all she ever does is tell me , "I miss you" and "Why don't we hang out anymore?", what do I tell her? Do I straight up tell her the truth that I don't want to carry her burdens? Like every time I see her, she's always complaining and I can't stand it anymore because I'm in a very good frame of mind right now. Ugh, sorry for the novel, I just need some input from people.
