so over the weekend my friends and i were talking about body cleansing and detoxing and i'm thinking about doing detox pretty soonish. has anyone ever done it before and have tips on it? i don't know how many you can have for that but all i know is that grape juice and warm water for 3 days detoxes pretty effectively?

I've got a friend on GJ who I've been close to for the past two years. And the other night when I talked to her, she was scaring me because she said she had no real reason to live, etc. And she's had a suicide attempt in the past. Well 3 days now and she hasn't signed on, answer my e-mails/messages/calls, and I'm starting to freak out. I know her mom has a myspace, but would it not be in my place to message her and ask if my friend is okay?

i just bought two of these from urban outfitters. does anyone else have this or anything like it?
i'm afraid to put them in the drier because i hate how chopped up shorter shirts make me look and these are a really great length. they're a little big in the chest so slight shrinkage is alright but i don't want to ruin them. the tag says tumble dry low but idk because i bought other shirts a while ago that claimed to be drier safe and they ended up as midriffs.

i know the obvious is to get vocal lessons, but my life is so hectic right now that i can't schedule it or afford it.
i love singing, and i sing all of the time, which is definitely helping, but are there any like youtube videos or anything of the sort that could help me structure my improvement more?

My friend was supposed to fly in today and we have tickets for a show tomorrow night. But now her flight has been cancelled twice, and it's looking like she's going to have to fly in tomorrow. My question is, is there anything we can do? Like a way to get onto another airline or something? Because now we're both kind of freaking out? So today my friend sent me a picture text message and it kind of fucked up all of my messages. Because it took so slow to load, it froze up my phone for a few seconds and then it seemed fine but it kept saying I had a new message and showed the little envelope image. When I deleted all of my texts, it was still there. And now my inbox is in a bold font for some reason even though there are no messages. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? :-\ It's really bothering me.

okay now this is kind of a long story:
my boyfriend and i have been dating for eight months and have a ~serious relationship~ i guess but lately we've been fighting and last night we didn't fight but we had a really long conversation about our relationship and where it was going. He said he needed a break so we're not hanging out for a while. Now my guy friend, josh, who's been my friend for years, wants to hang out tonight with some friends. and go to Max and Erma's and he's going to pay for my meal (because I'm poor and couldn't go otherwise). It wouldn't be so fucked up if Josh hadn't said a month ago he regretted never dating me and other things, and when I told my mom she pretty much said I was a bitch for going out with josh tonight, even though there are other people going too.
Now, questions: Am I a bitch? Should I tell my boyfriend now, or later?
any advice is appreciated.

So I'm trying to download some brushes for photoshop and when the little window pops up asking to save the file or to only open it, since I thought it was pretty retarded to keep on clicking save every single time I try to download something I clicked on the little check box on that window which says don't ask me to do such and such action again. Now I can't even save the files anymore, it only opens them. I really want to be able to save them. Help me, please?

I'm taking a US History university course, with a 'required' textbook. In class today, the prof said that she wasn't so sure about the textbook, and that it was up to us if we wanted to get it (BUT if we had never taken a similar course before [which I haven't], that we should probably have some type of US History text on hand.) There is NO final, and NO required readings from the text, so I'm assuming class tests will be based solely on her notes.
Now, since I'm a keener and got my books early, knowing all this should I return the book (I only have until next Tuesday to do so) or should I keep it. It just seems like a waste of money to me to keep a textbook the prof doesn't even really acknowledge. She basically just has an outline of the topics we'll be doing each class on the syllabus, so why can't I just look up a summary of the topic online the night before and then take really good notes?

So in my criminal corrections class today we talked about a gay man that was raped everyday in jail for over a year, the prison knew what was going on but they looked the other way. Eventually the man get feed up contacted the NAACP and they filed a lawsuit for him and won. My teacher asked us how we as a society should have "rewarded" the man because sometimes money is not enough. A boy in my class raised his hand and said "well now with Heath Ledger gone this gay guy can have his role in Brokeback Mountain" the room got silent until another guy yelled out "that is the dumbest shit I have heard all day"
