"You been living around the Capitol a long time - you could be that sneaky," Bucky told Peggy with a little laugh. He'd seen Peggy work people around before, so Bucky knew she had it in her. But usually, she was more a straightforward sort of woman. It was probably why Bucky had liked and trusted her pretty quickly, even though the rest of the Capitol and the team working with him, Bucky had never had any use for. Peg had always been different. He hadn't quite seen her as real at first either, but he thought he knew better, now.
He doubted she'd go that far around in any twist just to get his teeth looked at though, so Bucky was just teasing. The only thing that kept him from going to get the syrup and doing it though, just for the hell of it, was he wasn't sure they had any. Pancakes wasn't one of the things Bucky made.
Bucky shrugged a little, mouth twitching. "We're not really talking much these days, anyway, so it's just between you and me. Don't tell me you fell for it and think he's pretty too though, Peg - I don't want to have to break Steve's heart for you."
"Specializing. If you can't eat it before noon, I won't do it," Bucky said, watching Moo and grinning a little. "What do they have you doing when you head back home, anyway?"
