Bucky reached and carefully extracted a little claw, setting Moo back on his chest. She didn't seem inclined to stay there since she just climbed back toward his shoulder to try to gnaw on his ear, but he didn't bother to try to stop her again. She was on the right shoulder, anyway. She was the size of his hand, not like she could do much damage.
Though she was a pretty determined little chomper.
"Yeah, but she's cute, so she'll get away with it." Bucky made a face, because he shouldn't have a cat. But he also didn't really want to argue about giving her away when she was gnawing on his ear. He'd just wait until Clint was leaving, then make him take her, maybe.
He blinked though, and then just started to laugh, low and amused, startling Moo who scampered down his chest to peer at him one-eyed from Clint's knee instead. Bucky grinned and shook his head at Clint. "She got it for me," he admitted. "I got some here, too. I was going to give it to you - after the thing." He didn't say no though, nudging his mug toward Clint to drop some in. "I'll refill yours when you go. That party a while back, for the Maximoff kid's Arena? They had all that dosed food. People were getting sick or horny or fucked up, but I got that stuff. Just spent the whole night great. Nothing bothered me, wasn't drunk, felt light. Better than I'd felt ..." Bucky shrugged. It was pretty obvious. "I was gonna ask a guy about getting it, but then came up short on funds for a while so I just figured I'd ask Peggy if she'd heard anything. And she just came through with it." Bucky grinned wider. "Shit's great, right? And not like being drunk, or drugged up - you can still think."
