Gisele had spent her day in London visiting a local University's laboratory, as she had written to them a few months prior expressing interest in their biology sector. She took a tour of the lab, was introduced to a few professors who were there, and had a few interesting conversations. At the end of the day, she was ready to ehad home when she saw an invitation for food. She already suspected that it would be more than that, so she figured she'd make her way over. Being poor meant feeling no shame in accepting others' offerings.
She arrived at the party, and made her way to the kitchen and thanked and complimented the man who was cooking. He seemed to have given her a decently sized slice of lasagna, and so she went to the living room and found a chair in a corner to sit and eat.
