My conclusions so far are: 1. The fuck are purists throwing balls for anyway? Dickheads. 2. Unless the Order claims responsibility, I don't even really know if they actually did it. The DEs would attack themselves with low-impact bombs and then cry wolf over it. 3. I'm fucking pissed that this is now a case that I have to work on, because it's just bloody illegal. This is what bothers me about the Order, right? Like. Okay. In this war, yeah, I get it, the DMLE has been rendered useless and the Ministry is being used as a tool against people. But the last war? Aurors have training. We have policies and guidelines. We are accountable to our Head of Office and our Head of Department. Who the hell is the Order accountable to? They get to be anonymous, there's no internal review, there's no such thing as a suspension or probation if they fuck up. There's nothing that stops them from doing whatever the hell they want, saying it's what they had to do because there's a ~war~ and then walking away from it scot-free (if they happen to survive the Death Eaters). There's no process. There's no building a case to prosecute people with the full extent of the law. They're not authorised to do shit. And sure -- it's a mess out there, but god-fucking-damnit, people don't just need Death Eaters shut down. They need them in Azkaban. They need them to be held accountable for the fucking crimes they committed and are committing and will commit. People deserve justice. This isn't justice.
