SIX DAYS TO ELECTION, WIZENGAMOT MEMBERS SCRAMBLE TO ENDORSE NOTT By Byron Kettleburn Since this week's revelations came to light about the late Alastor Moody's corruption investigation against Gawain Robards, Wizengamot members have clambered to throw their support behind Robards' opponent, Hugo Nott. Even members such as Philantha Poke and Vindictus Lundstrom, who had previously stated they would make no endorsement in the Tinworth race, have made statements regarding their support for Nott in the election. Despite his long history working in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, Wizengamot veteran, Jeanette Claverdon, claimed Robards unfit for the position, stating this morning that "corruption would explain his inability thus far to keep Tinworth safe from attack." And first-term member, Albert Primsall, seemed to agree when he stated, "It's in the best interest of the people of Tinworth and the Wizengamot to cast their votes for Hugo Nott." Madam Gladys Grunnion, who had previously speculated on the investigation hurting Robards' chances, has added her name to the list, behind Wilhelmina Nettlebed of Wandstaff and Xanthus Maddock of Northumberland.
