WHO: Graham Montague, ft a boggart. WHAT: Graham sends a gift, then opens one. WHEN: Monday 4 December, morning. WHERE: Knockturn Alley, then Imogen's apartment. WARNINGS: Mentions of Death Eating.
A box of handmade filled chocolates, with a note reading 'Dear Fred, Thinking of you. xoxo A.'
Plotting his petty revenge against the Weasleys made Graham happier than it probably should have, but it all served the Cause, so he didn't feel too bad about it. Eventually they'd have to target Angelina directly as Bellatrix wanted, but fucking with her head a little bit first sounded like fun to him.
The chocolates he'd ordered looked perfectly like something that would be sold at Honeydukes, the pink creamy centres laced with a poison that would give the consumer hallucinations and conjunctivitis-type symptoms. Nothing deadly, at least for this pass. He owed a major favour to a guy in Knockturn Alley for them, but he didn't mind that. The box was wrapped and a note tucked under the ribbons, a kid too young paid to deliver it to Weasleys' Wizarding Wheezes. Whistling as he let himself into Imogen's apartment, he noticed the parcel that had been sitting waiting for him for the past few days. He was sure it'd been sitting on the table, but now it seemed like it had fallen off the side. He picked up and sat on the couch. scowling at the note that came with the box. Thanks for reminding him of the things he could no longer afford.
His annoyance was soon forgotten when he flicked upon the box, the expected cleaning kit missing and something else springing out. After a moment or two is coalesced, and Graham fell back, staring at the open Vanishing Cabinet in front of him. It was exactly how he remembered it, down to the grain of the wood and creak of the hinges. He could feel the claustrophobia setting in, memories of being folded up and trapped overtaking him. He was still there later when someone came home, frozen in place as he stared blankly, his wand and the banishing spell forgotten as he relived the worst day of his life over and over again.
