I'll keep this fairly short! It was a quiet, tasteful ceremony, open to anyone who loved or cared about Gawain, though it was not widely advertised (they didn't take an ad out in the Prophet or anything, because the goal was to keep this fairly small and secure). It was held in Tinworth so that anyone who wanted to say goodbye or pay their respects could be there. There was a slideshow of photos provided by his friends (including and especially the infamous dragonhide jacket/earring photos), instrumental versions of some of his favourite songs, and maybe a Welsh hymn or two. ETA: The former Aurors were welcome to wear their formal robes if they wanted! Anyone who wanted to say a few words was welcome to, so feel free to write them below! Fare thee well, old friend. ♥ |
