DEADBORN: WALES WOMAN KILLED IN SELF-DEFENSE By Byron Kettleburn On Monday evening, an altercation at the home of Phillipa Dearborn resulted in one death and several injuries in Wales. Rodolphus and Rabastan Lestrange stopped by the residence to visit Phillipa Dearborn, but upon their arrival, her two sons, Owen and Jeremy Dearborn, attacked the brothers. Owen Dearborn, a Hitiwizard for the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, attempted to harm the Lestranges using the Cruciatus Curse. Jeremy Dearborn assaulted them with a grandfather clock, even goading his mother into joining their attack. She assaulted the pair with a frying pan and stabbed Rabastan Lestrange with a kitchen knife. She later succumbed to injuries sustained when the Lestrange brothers acted in their own defense. The Lestrange brothers have declined to press charges against the Dearborns. Rabastan Lestrange explained the decision as "an act of kindness toward those whose upbringing has left them with poor manners, poorer taste and an uphill battle to make themselves decent members of society." Phillipa Dearborn leaves behind her two sons and a grandson, Kevin, whose mother, Zefiryn Mikolajcyzk-Dearborn has been classified as a Muggleborn fugitive since September. In 1999, Phillipa Dearborn's husband, Caradoc Dearborn was pronounced missing during the height of the First Wizarding War. He has since been presumed dead after repeated searches yielded no leads into his disappearance. |
