WHO: Dolores Umbridge & a Dementor WHERE: Outside of a coffee shop near the Ministry WHEN: Jan 8 WHAT: Dolores scolds a Dementor WARNINGS: None. Just thought we needed an amusing Dementor interaction
A fresh coffee in hand Dolores was bustling from the local coffee shop back to the Ministry. She had work to be done, but tea was just not enough. She took a moment to take a break and get a cup of fresh brewed coffee. She had one glorious sip of the caffeinated drink before she exited the shop and it would seem that was the only sip she would have.
The coldness should have been a hint of what was to come but the nearly paralyzing feeling of dread and low self worth where what alerted Dolores to the Dementor looming in on her. She dropped her cup of coffee as she reached for her wand in the pocket of her tweed pink cape throw. In a dramatic flourish with the flow of the pink fabric she quickly cast her patronus out towards the dementor with such ease, the silver cat striding out in the dementor’s direction.
“How dare you!” Dolores said shrilly as her cat patrolled to keep the dementor a respectable distance away but close enough to be scolded. “Don’t you know who I am.” She tsked with a disappointed shake of her head. “I don’t have time to waste with you.” She cleared her throat looking at the Dementor disapprovingly. “I employ your kind,” she said before she sent her patronus striding forward to scare the dementor off further. “Don’t dare waste my time in the future,” she spoke as if scolding a child.
With a heavy sigh she looked at the coffee cup on the ground. Her pink pumps splattered. “Of course,” she said before cleaning them with a quick spell. She daintily stepped over the spilled coffee and headed back towards the office. Apparently she would have to send someone coffee because she was too important to waste more time going back for another cup.
