Kou stood quietly at the lakeside about to erupt, chin buried into his neck as though a scarf was there to provide him with sanctuary. The emotion bubbled on his face when he looked from Kozue to Reizo and the closeness between the two of them. His neckline stood out all stiff and with its muscles taut.
Reizo's remark had been somewhat lost on Kou - the bane of his school, with those wolfish teeth and pressing stare. Perhaps the respect he gave Reizo for his capacity for violence was misplaced, or maybe he had just gotten the taller boy wrong. His gaze lingered and now he thought about it, that faith was obviously misplaced, since Reizo-crap quite obviously did not understand his lack of fascination with the fairer sex, and the participation in it.
His thoughts broke then and he stared at Kozue, eyes moving to the left and wandering over Reizo to where Misaki was. Nobody here understood him at all, and his neck buried itself a little deeper before he shook his head and wished everyone would disappear from beside him. Expecting them to help themselves by not making exhibitions of their appearance - it was not doing him good to motivate himself with concern, except he would not be willing to let himself be hated if it was anything but.
"What exactly is your problem with whatever's going on between the two of us? Your jealousy is understandable in itself, but you're acting as though I'm bothered by it. Between the three of us, I must be the only one who trusts Kondo-san at all."
He gave Reizo as hard a look as he had given. "Why you care about our relationship is confusing. It's not like you understand the basis of it. Haven't you got anything better to do?"
