Tamiko knocked dead in the centre of the dorm room door sharply three times with a half-second exactly between each knock.

The slip of paper in her hand was official-looking, printed on stationary embossed with the Takahane family name.

Kanaye was more recognisable than what she had run into in the DVD store. At least that thing, disgusting as it was, had had the good manners not to be american. Or whatever this was.

She looked past Kanaye for a second, scrutinizing the room behind him. She instantly wished she hadn't. Ugh, she wanted to shower again just looking at it. What a pigsty.

"This isn't the wrong door." She said. Because she was never wrong. "I'm looking for a first year thing. Tall."

	There was a good quarter hour before he was next bothered. The bill was slipped under the door. She had clearly found out what Toru's family name was in that time. It was also laminated now. She waited outside to check for an initial reaction. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Kanaye had found what he was looking for. He didn't smoke, but he had picked it up anyway. The lamination was somewhat unexpected, but...

Kanaye opened the door, and, confirming Tamiko was out there, held out the receipt in one hand. The other hand, however, held a lighter, which Kanaye lit and held under the paper. The plastic started to melt off, and the paper burned.
