Why: Non-paradise reasons.

Maeko had been seeing the butterflies again. She'd seen them around Nayuki before.

That wasn't actually why she was talking to Seiko right now. Thought it was quickly becoming a reason when she approached the older girl and it became clear that it was her they were pointing to.

"Yukizuki-san." She said, getting right to business before the older girl could leave. Not paradise business, naturally. Class-rep business was far more important. "I'm supposed to be checking up on you for the end of the term because of your performance last year. Have you been coping well enough with the work load?"

	Seiko blinked gathering up her books. "Oh hi Maeko-san." she stopped and turned around to look at her classmate. "I guess so, I mean, considering how bad it was last year and that I pretty much went a year without studying it hasn't been easy." she grinned. "But I am slowly improving, even though I am having to force Shojiro to give me extra extra sessions." (Reply to this) (Thread)

Maeko nodded cheerfully. 2-b really did stand a chance at having the highest average scores this year as long as they weren't dragged down.

"So you're okay? There's nothing the school needs to do to help you, right? A student mentor could be arranged if you're struggling at all."

She smiled and nodded again, trying not to pay attention to the butterflies whirling around her classmate impatiently. "Please don't hesitate to let me know if you need anything."

"Thats really kind!" she beamed with genuine happiness.

"I could do with a mentor maybe sometime around exam time though." she finished packing her bag. "Its just taking time to get used to studying, when I was in middle school my grades were pretty good but I...hmm had a bad dark patch." she said this without seeming to be upset or embarassed about her past, just accepting it for what it was.

"The school is being very supportive though."

	Maeko thought. "Hmm, if it's just getting back into the habit then Tanaka-senpai seems responsible enough. I'll see if I can arrange for him to help you out, okay?" She nodded again, taking note of what she was saying so she wouldn't forget. "It's in thier best interests to want every student to do as well as they can, it's only natural." 	Kanaye walked in, looking around. He couldn't find Maeko anywhere on the way to the dorms, so she had to be in her classroom. And he was right. And she was talking to Seiko. Hey, someone he actually knew! "Yo, Maeko-chan, Seiko-san. I'm not interrupting anything, am I?" Kanaye asked with a smile, walking over to Maeko and giving her a quick hug. Okay fine, butterfiles. I'm paying attention to you now.

"Ah, there was one other thing. Retsu-senpai was wanting to speak to you about something so-"

-and there was Kanaye. She didn't return the hug since she was kind of talking to someone here but she squeezed his hand briefly to show she'd acknowledged his presence.

"Good afternoon, senpai! I won't be long, I just need to take Yukizuki-san to see Retsu-senpai."

And with that she moved to the classroom door and attempted to close it and then open it again the wrong way discreetly.

Seiko blinked at the sudden arrival of Kanaye, she gave him a wide grin. "Hey Kanaye-kun, how are you?" She liked Kanaye, not that she had spoken to the second year students that much as she often ended up with the third years at lunch. But he was the kind of guy she could understand.

She raised an eyebrow and grabbed her bag, surely Maeko knew how to open a door properly?

Kanaye nodded then blinked when Maeko closed the door. Wasn't she going to bring Seiko to...

And then he noticed the butterflies. That would explain something. Kanaye was pleased with this development. It meant he had less people on the team that hated him, ratio-wise. "Oh, I'm sure Gendou" he emphasized the word, "would love to see Seiko-san. I'm doing fine, Seiko-san. On a completely unrelated note, do you like butterflies, Seiko-san?"

	Kanaye smirked deviously at Seiko. "Oh, no reason. I'm just sure Gendou loves them. Why don't you go meet him? Maeko-chan and I will come with, right Maeko-chan?" With that, Kanaye SUBTLY walked over, grabbed Seiko, and gently pushed her into paradise, grinning like a loon the whole time. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Kanaye laughed. "Of course, Maeko-chan. It's what we do." He leaned in towards Seiko. "Bit of a warning, there. It's going to hurt like hell. No, worse then that. It's going to hurt like death." Seiko stared, usually things didn't faze her much, but now she was fairly sure she was shut in with two mad people. Until her phone rang when Maeko said it would...She answered it just after Kanaye said something about pain?

After clicking off she stared at the phone for a few seconds finger above the redial button. "You do realise you two seem like mad people right now?" she said conversationally before redialing.

Then she nearly collapsed sideways into Kanaye, she had experienced headaches before but this...her phone dropped to the floor, and her hands went to her head.

Then quiet suddenly she looked up to see...something else. She blinked a few times, this surely was a dream.

A woman taller than any of them stood staring down at Seiko clearly Egyptian in origin the woman had a feather upon her head, and what appeared to be some kind of combination of wings and arms, she had folded her...wingarms, and was watching them patiently.

Seiko managed to get her voice back. "I have one question....what the...fuck?"

Kanaye laughed. "Seiko-san, we ARE mad people. Well, mainly me. Maeko-chan's better." he said, grinning like a loon.

He moved to the side a bit as she nearly collapsed, still smirking. He bounced on the balls of his feet as her persona appeared. "That is a persona. We fight shadows with them." In order to explain, he dialed up Indra. Indra appeared, looked at Ma'at, and smiled at her, laughing a bit. "See? Persona."

"You're one of us." Maeko said calmly, calling the witch as Kanaye had Indra. Baba Yaga displayed as much respect for Maeko's personal space as anyone seemed to recently, wrapping one bony hand around her wrist and a second around her neck becore fading with the sound of quiet, sinister laughter.

"It's hard to explain quickly. But people here are in a lot of danger. Sato-san and Aomori-sensei were victims who we failed to save but they weren't the only victims." She sighed, then smiled and held out a hand.

"Welcome to the anti-bullying club."

"This really probably is a valid reason for me to start binge drinking again..." Seiko said staring up at Ma-at, what on Earth was this? She was meant to be studying, or maybe seeing friends? Not staring at some tall terrifying woman, with fellow students who even admitted to be mad.

"So this...Persona-san, does it talk or..." she shook her head and took Maeko's hand with a sigh.

"Why has this happned?" she asked her eyes still on Ma'at, almost transfixed.

"Like you need an excuse to start binge drinking! I have a stash in the "club" room if you ever want something to drink. Just tell me when you take anything, alright?" Kanaye smiled.

"Oh, no. Not usually. Indra just laughs, and Baba Yaga usually just cackles maniacally. I think you've got the best of it, really."

"Hell if I know, hell if I care. We just need to save people, that's all. We should probably introduce you to the rest of the group, you'll probably like them."

"Right so...essentially we are superheroes with...some kind of grown up type Digimon?" she asked trying to get her head round it and staring at Ma'at who just raised an eyebrow.

"Ah Kanaye-kun it is bad to drink alone!" she said trying to smile, even her usual attitude was hard to manage when she had just been told this kind of news...

"How many are there? Of you...us?"
