(Had a lot of trouble getting this account actually verified though it lied and said it had been, anyway this is a lot later than I intended so sorry for the delay)

Who: Seiko and whichever persona user stumbles upon her.
Why: Character introduction!
What: A afternoon out in the sun, for now.
Where: School grounds.
When: Afternoon. Just after the recent dungeon.

Seiko sat lent back against a tree a book balanced on her knees and a small cake in her hand. She scanned the page with a sigh, she had persuaded her step cousin Shojiro to give her the text book for the next term early, she didn't want to get held back another year after all. She wasn't academically brilliant, so without studying hard she knew her grades may not be the best she could do.

She looked up at the sky for a moment and smiled, things had been a bit hectic at school, but everything seemed calmer now. School life and her home life seemed to be slipping gently into a more peaceful state. She closed her eyes for a second to enjoy the sunshine, she hoped things stayed this way for a while at least.

Kouchisei stared at his classmate. He was imagining her with black hair, and every reaction if he offered help. A laugh? Gratitude? Maybe a slap? Exam scores were posted publically; he knew she needed help, but something inside him was still a little dark. He knew helping others would further his own ambitions.

How orderly it would be if the whole world was the same, he thought. Then he would not be worried about university. His father, even. Except it couldn't be, and if Kanaye was the same then he couldn't enjoy himself by winding him around his finger. So predictable.

Well, they said he had been belligerent. He would show them!

He walked up and lowered his head, and there was a weird expression on his face.

"Che. You're lost, aren't you?"

Seiko looked up and gave him a grin, after all who could be gloomy in this weather, "Lost? In what sense?" she looked around, a little bemused, it was clear she wasn't lost physically, so maybe he meant with her work, she looked down at the book on her knees.

She stared up at the boy before her, she was fairly sure he was in her grade, but she couldn't remember ever talking to him very much, and usually she had spoken to most of her peers, but he was very familiar...

"You are Oubai-san right?" she asked addressing him politely.

Kou nodded. Then his expression was dumbfounded. What was it with blondes? Did their intellect vanish up through thier roots?

"We're in the same class. Didn't you know?"

He knew plenty about her. What he hadn't known was how similiar they were. He rubbed his arms and looked around. Nobody was near, so what was it? He closed his eyes for a moment to avoid the sunshine and when he opened them saw a woman, dressed like a cosplayer from Game-King. The colour drained from his cheeks immediately. He blinked, and nothing was there.

	"Yeah, but I uh got held back a year so I've only been in this class since the start of term, and I've mostly had my friends from my own class. 	"Uh? Oh. I'm fine." He pushed up his glasses. She said he looked pale, but he was running a finger around the inside of his collar. It touched the cartilige in his neck and he sucked it in. She grinned at him brightly. "I know, but they haven't started the groups for next term." she held up the book. "The teaching assistant in the History class is my step cousin so he lets me have the books early." she sighed. "Its not that I'm stupid, I'm just really far behind."

She had heard that Oubai-san was meant to be aloof and not one to talk so much. "Thank you, once the study groups go I will start. But its really kind of you." she beamed at Kou, she always liked it when someone showed some interest.

	"That's not fair on the other students," he said, and then he thought he did it to help her, or that he needed to be less like his father and more like, well, his own ideal of a father if he had children. 	Seiko raised an eyebrow. "Last year I did no work, so they held me back, so now I want to...I want to do the very best I can do." she shrugged running a hand through her bleached hair with a bit of a embarrassed smile. Seiko laughed, not maliciously or with any strange motive she just seemed amused, this guy was a bit strange, he seemed to almost not want to talk to her but was making himself anyway.

"I am trying to Oubai-san." she replied with a smile, "But sometimes things happen in life that just throw up a roadblock and you have to get around it." she waved the book. "I am trying harder, I'm just not great at studying really."

Kouchisei had heard people laughing enough to know when he was being mocked. He could not understand how someone thought stern but good advice was comedic, and it showed; his face didn't know what expression to take. He seemed to begin speaking but made himself quiet.

A sigh, and then he continued. "Maybe it's your attitude. Self-defeatists don't get anywhere, or deserve to."

She shrugged. "I'm just realistic, I am trying hard and I will get good enough grades. But I don't want to be arrogant or anything. I mean...I was held back a year, I'm not really the kind of person anyone will tolerate showing any arrogance."

She clutched her book to her chest, and her smile dropped very slightly, clearly this person didn't have the greatest view of her already, but he was still trying to help, sort of, she was having trouble working him out.

"I don't mean to sound...impolite, but why are you asking? I mean its nice for you to give me advice, but besides being in the same class I'm not really the kind of person you'd talk to right?"

Kou blinked. Who on earth would let themselves fail at something important? She hadn't made the effort, he believed; she wouldn't be in this situation otherwise.

He pushed his glasses up. Even if he wanted to help this person, he didn't have a positive view that she'd repay his efforts by working hard. His time was important too.

"I don't have to talk to you, if that's what you want."

He shrugged.
